Just knowing what is going on in China right now is making my heart hurt. So many babies lacking so many necessities already, now having to fight just to stay alive without proper food or heat during some of the worst weather China has seen in a century. If you’re not aware of the need for help, visit Half The Sky for a full report on all the orphanages that HTS has been able to contact. I have heard nothing about Shepherd’s orphanage, but I am optimistic that DG is far south enough to not have been hit by all the snow and ice that north Guangdong province has experienced. I say optimistic, but how can a mother not worry about her baby? I was already concerned about him before, but now the very basics ~ heat and food ~ are coming into question. SO many babies are doing without in China… babies, the elderly and those who dutifully and lovingly provide them with care. Thankfully HTS is in a position to help in a big way, and, due to the generosity of others, has been able to provide much needed relief to those hit hardest by the severe weather. HTS is even requesting to be able to help any and all orphanages in need, even those not affiliated with HTS programs. If you’ve ever considered giving to Half the Sky, now is the time!

Stefanie, I’m right there with you…worried about our children and the others at the SWI’s. We are trying desperately to contact Yifeng, through LWB & CCAI…nothing yet;-(
I worry because Paisley is in a hard hit area in Jiangxi, is she warm? does she have formula? is she scared?
I am going out of my brain.
all I can do is pray.
is that enough?
