What great pictures! I love Judes sweet little tummy hanging out and the grin on Shepherd’s face. Cute, cute, cute! Oh and 3 cheers for the total on the Bring Cole Home chip in!!!! Amazing!!
Beautiful pics, Stef. I heard it’s stormy there today…good thing you had such a lovely sunny day for your big pumpkin patch visit! Can’t wait to see all those kiddos in person AT THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ๐ Did that just for you, babe. Love you.
GREAT pictures! The kids look SOOOO happyto be there. Chris looks like he was having a little fun, too. I could just eat Jude up. “High 5” on the ChipIn. Praises are in order!
GREAT photos!!! Love everyone’s smiling faces!! The smile on Shepherd is just priceless…come to think of it, he is always smiling, isn’t he?! Must be all that LOVE that surrounds him everyday! ๐
We’re off to the Pumpkin Patch on Thursday! Our first trip ever! (can you TELL I’m a city girl??)
Steph, there is sooo much happiness behind each photo, and that doesn’t just appear out of no where. You have a beautiful family and its all through your love and direction. Beautiful xxx s
Why do your kiddos always look so put together??? Why girl.. why. YOu set the expectations to high for the rest of us big ol’ families!!! Too stinkin’ cute!!!!
I love the photos, especially the one of the zip line. When I was growing up, we called that a pulley, only I thought it was a Poley because my friend Christy Poley had one in her backyard.
I swear I am losing it. I have commented twice over here and they haven’t shown up. Seeing as I am constantly trying to “fit in” little trips to my favorite blogs, I am wondering if I am even hitting the send button. Whew!
The kids look so great! So put together and so…..BLISSFUL. You are one skilled mama with the lens. Seeing the total on the ChipIn is just beautiful. So happy for your sister!!
Stefanie, Brinley was standing here staring intently at the picture of the kids sitting together. For a moment I thought, “Oooh my! Maybe there is something about Sophie that she remembers!”. Some little something about that picture that reminds her of her sweet friend from the SWI. The one she shared giggles and fun with! I kept watching her as she leaned in for a better look. I enlarged the photo for her and waited to see what she was going to say. I was literally holding my breath! She turned and looked at me with her eyes wide and her finger pointing to the screen. In amazement she shouted, “MOM!!!!!! That girl gots Target shoes JUST LIKE ME!” excitedly pointing to Isabelle’s nifty ladybug shoes! I laughed so hard! I’m sure she thinks I am nuts. Gotta love those Target shoes!
Stephanie, What a moving, beautiful and simply delightful blog you have. I am truly touched by all the work you are doing and the role of advocacy for special needs children. I’m just about in tears, but want to finish this post.
I too am married to a AF Maj. Ret. now, but we have a SN’s adopted daughter from Hunan. I can’t explain just how special she is to me. I think I was the one with the special need, for her. Anyway, I also advocate for this program, do webinars, and have written articles for our agency. My blog is getting a makeover today, so I can start connecting with other adoptive parents. We so want to go back and adopt a second SN’s little girl. Your family is truly inspirational.
Thank you for the continued work you do on behalf of children.
