Really good stuff, thanks to our beloved Tonggu Momma… check it out at No Hands But Ours HERE.
P.S. I will be posting more of the story to our girl soon. Promise. Honestly, it took me a ridiculously long time to write up that much of the story yesterday. Ridiculous. By the time I forced myself to stop, the kids were ravenous, having exhausted the snack options on the lowest shelves. And the littlest were floundering around in dirty diapers. A girl can only take so much pandemonium and bootie funk before she has to call it quits.
I'm a regular mama. Who happens to have twelve kids.
Just one husband, though.

Oh, okay. When you put it like that, I guess it’s okay that you stopped right there. Like that. Abruptly with no conclusion. I’ll be fine. Really, I will.
Tap, tap, tap. waiting patiently . . . . . . . . . .
I totally, totally, totally can relate…sadly. Yep, I have one right now that is needing a new diaper.
I’m waiting patiently, too!!! (or not so patiently)
Wow…Stefanie, the NHBO site is really fabulous!! I love the “Whatever Wed.” feature…what a wealth of info!! Wonderful, wonderful work you all are doing here!
bootie funk! hilarious!!!!!!!
Bootie funk … That is SO funny! NHBO is awesome, by the way! (I know I said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again!)
All the best!

You’re too funny..bootie funk…did you make that one up? It’s good!
I’d love to spend a day at your house seeing how you keep it all together. In fact, I’ve always wished I could spend a day at a lot of other mom’s houses just to see how they do it. I’m sure I’d learn a lot. Like, Kim at 3 Peanuts…how does she keep it all so clean, organized and stylish (the house and the kids) and how do you nurture all those kids at once…and on and on. Sometimes the isolation of doing it all…alone…in each of our own little (or big) houses seems rather silly to me…and kind of sad, too. Thanks for letting me “visit” with you, at least in cyber space.
Can’t wait to hear the rest of the story because I totally mixed things up yesterday and thought you were adopting Olive. I showed my whole family her photo and they were so happy for you. Guess I’ll have to do that again once I see your new daughter (oh..it’s cool just saying that..new daughter..ahhh)
Allright waiting patiently…..
Love, Kristy
Agreeing with everyone else –
“Bootie Funk” is now officially my favorite euphemism for we all know what!!
Stefanie,
I finally got a chance to check to see if you had updated. Mylee had her surgery today and despite ALOT of pain, she is doing well.
I was really hoping for some more info on the soon to be newest member of your family. However, I totally understand why you had to stop. This blogging stuff takes quite a bit of time.
Can’t wait to hear more about her.
Mandi
I adore you! Even with a bootie funk house.
How about a “Tell Us More Thursday?”
