September 19, 2008 is a day I will never forget. It was the day that I offhandedly mentioned to my new friend Colleen that I wanted to make Christian t-shirts. For women. But most of all, for Him.
It was the day Wild Olive came to life.
Today we celebrate one year since God has started a mighty work with three less than mighty women. Women He brought together to fulfill a purpose: to spread His word.
And it’s been quite a journey thus far. He has comforted us when we were anxious, He has equipped us when we were ill-prepared and He has carried us when we were weary. He has opened doors we never dreamed possible. He has revealed Himself in ways we never imagined. This is not a Stefanie story, or even a Wild Olive story.
It is a God story.
And I am exceedingly grateful to be a part of it.

I think this verse is ME! I had my 4th back surgery on May 21st. Since then I have not been my normal happy go lucky self. My "normal" self is an uplifter, encourager, constant smiler! Always looking for the silver lining and the lesson in any situation.
A dear friend sent me an email with a verse that I wish I could remember, basicaly it said in ALL THINGS give thanks. In my sad stupper I have thought on this single thought/Godly instruction every day. I will be 40 in December. I am in great health! Because of my back, I cannot carry a child of my own. Devasting is not even a big enough word to describe how that feels. Folks that don't know me well tell me how "lucky" I am not to have kids. We have a lovely home, new cars, and pretty much anything we want…if they only knew I long to show up somewhere with spit up on my freshly pressed shirt and for 1 exploding diaper! Those are real mommy moments!
IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS!!! God has a baby for me, I just have to wait for his timing!!!

What fun–I was just thinking about Wild Olive yesterday. I ordered Beloved for a friend and her daughter several months ago, and they love them (I wanted one, but was supposed to give the gift first.) They love them–thanks for such a great product!
