Day two. Spring break 2010.
Boy, are my kids going to have lots of exciting tales to share when they get back to school on Monday.
Today we spent a good portion of the day working in Dalton and Asher’s room, while they sorted and tried on clothes. Out with winter clothes and in with spring clothes. At least the spring clothes that happen to fit.
Who knew a couple of boys could have so many clothes. In so many sizes.
Let’s just say they have lots and lots of hand-me-downs.
While the boys had their forced fashion show, the other kiddos played alongside. With all the new toys they’d unearthed yesterday. The ones with fresh batteries. Volume turned all the way up. Playing at the same time.
Vivi found a sticker book and spent a solid half hour running from said sticker book to me, covering every inch of my front side with an animal sticker. Each time I tried to act like it was the loveliest tiger (or zebra or bear) I’d ever seen.
I considered taking some pictures of our afternoon o’ fun, but figured my boys wouldn’t really want y’all to see pictures of them in a state of semi-undress.
And, even more than that, I figured y’all didn’t want to be subjected to pictures of my boys in a state of semi-undress.
You’ll just have to trust me when I say it was tons of fun.
