Our beautiful Poppy.
Who, amazingly, we saw for the very first time six months ago. Today.
How cool is God?
The wonderful mama who visited Poppy’s SWI not only sent us these pictures, but also shared some insights on our girl and the SWI where she lives.
Thank you hardly seems to cut it at a time like this.
But it’s all I got. Thank you so much.
She said that Poppy is very healthy.
And that the nannies describe Poppy as “serious”.
Sweet little thing.
Poppy was wary of this mama and her family, and preferred not to be picked up.
And although she isn’t smiling in these pictures, I’m so happy to see she isn’t crying.
The nannies spend a lot of time playing with the children outside.
And retired grandmas come to the SWI to play with the children daily.
Oh my goodness. So sweet.
Poppy seems to be on the bigger side, especially since most girls from Southern China are very tiny.
There is another little girl – also waiting for her family – who is older than Poppy… but quite a bit smaller.
And she said that Poppy is “so incredibly cute.”
I could not agree more.
Can not wait to hold this sweet, serious beauty in my arms.

She is incredibly cute– no doubt about it. And, I'm totally loving her hair do. We have the opposite hair issues with our little Shaanxi girl –all business in the front and party in the back. I can't seem to break her of the mullet.
