sweet moon baby: winners

Whew.

We made it home. The six hour drive, done. The bags? Unpacked. And the kids are all happily snuggled in their beds.

It was a really great weekend. But it is so, so good to be home.

Before we get to the winners, I wanted to share a note from Karen, the author of Sweet Moon Baby. She followed along as the comments were published and wanted to answer a few of your questions, and extend a very kind offer to those of you who did not win, but who might want a personalized nameplate in your copy of Sweet Moon Baby, should you decide to purchase one.

Dear Stefanie,

Canadians who want to order the book can contact amazon.ca. Only a few copies of Sweet Moon Baby are currently available at Amazon in the States, but more are ordered. Other online sites sell the book, however. Any bookstore, independent or franchise, will special order the book. To find it in other languages, contact Random House.

Thank you to those who saw the Moses connection. When I was a child, Old Testament stories in Sunday School were my favorite lessons.

Yes, I am thinking about a book for older adopted girl.

If you didn’t win the giveaway, I’m happy to sign a bookplate you can affix in your own copy. Send (Karen Henry Clark, 2195 Riverwood Place, St. Paul MN 55104) a stamped, self-addressed business envelope along with a note telling me how to personalize it. I’m happy to honor requests from others who have learned about the book from you but didn’t enter.

If it’s true that it takes a village to raise a child, I can assure you that it takes a village to keep a quiet little picture book in print. Bloggers and their remarkable followers have become my sweet moon blessing.

Love,
Karen

I would love to have a signed copy of this book for the child I am waiting to adopt. We are expecting a referral in the next few months, hopefully sooner than later. It is a very sweet fairy tale and would make a great start to our child’s library. Thanks for the chance to win one.

Congratulations to the winners. Hope you enjoy Sweet Moon Baby as much as we have.
