It’s not too often I find all of my youngest in a candid moment that I actually want to capture on film.
They had been given the “wrap it up” nod from in the house and were busily cleaning up.
Or so I thought.
Turned out they were cleaning up… but with a bit of a twist.
Poppy was in the middle of it all.
No big surprise there.
The surprise was that her two older brothers and three older sisters were all working together.
To push/pull her along in their homemade train-like contraption.
And laughing.
Even when Poppy took a tiny spill, everyone rallied to help her get up and back into her spot.
Working together, all five of them, to make their littlest sister happy.
And finding themselves thoroughly enjoying the process.
I’m going to hang on to these pictures. To remind me of this happy place.
That it does exist.
Because I have a sneaking suspicion that this little apple-cart-o’-fun is about to be upturned.
And everyone will have to make way for a new littlest sister.
Good thing we have another truck.
Just not sure if Tallula’s robustness will allow her to ride quite so comfortably.
P.S. If you didn’t check out Shepherd’s outfit, you must. That boy (and his clothing choices) crack me up.

That is one evermore cute little crowd!!!!! LOVE seeing them happy and playing together.
Wish I could give them each a big hug and a great big ol’ chocolate ice cream cone….double scoop.
Now that sounds like a receipe for a big ol’ mess, doesn’t it! Well, after all, I AM a grandmother….and that’s just how we roll. LOL

I love how Seamus seems to be supervising in the first photo. The train looks like something my cousins and I would have done back in the day, and we probably did somehow.

Oh, I love these so very sweet! What an amazing family, I see you lost a precious daughter, have you written about it? I just gave birth to a still born baby, I know our experiences are different but grief has many similarity. I would love to read any thing you have written.

Soooooooooo much cuteness, it’s just the good stuff, every single mama savors as they pass so quickly and sometimes take forever to notice again! Lucky Mama has the proof, keep it nearby for “those” upside down days ahead! You rock and your kids share your enthusiasm for fun!!
