Sunday Snapshot June Sponsor :: The Long Road to China

It’s June. The start of my most favorite season.

*swoon*

And it also means that it’s time to announce our June Sunday Snapshot sponsor.

Y’all are gonna LOVE this.

Lisa at The Long Road to China has donated a spot in her upcoming photography class, Push Past Your Comfort Zone. The class starts on July 10th and will run for 8 weeks. Value of the course is $150.

If you’re not familiar with Lisa and her photography courses, you must get familiar. Not only is Lisa an amazing photographer, she is a gifted teacher. And through Visions of Hope, she gives back to those left behind – a portion of her proceeds goes directly to Half the Sky to benefit orphans in China.

There’s no doubt that this class is going to be inspiring and educational. I’m participating in the class myself and I can not wait to get started.

Registration just opened so if you want to be sure to get a spot in the class, you might want to head over to her site and learn how to sign up, pronto.

Welcome June. And welcome summer!

I’ll be taking this course, Kim. I think you’d really enjoy it if you can find the time to focus on the assignments… I want to wring everything I can out of it so I’m going to commit to finding the time. I know I’m going to learn a LOT :)

My confort zone is still “keep that fancy camera on AUTO,” I could definitely use some inspiration and guidance!

  5. Enrolled! CANNOT wait!!!

  6. I signed up for the class, too. :) I am a bit nervous, because I have SO FAR to go in photography…..I hope I’m not in over my head. But I so badly want to learn more, and I think this will help me. By the way, I didn’t comment on it…but I absolutely loved the pictures of Poppy and Seamus…they were INCREDIBLE. Also…I’m curious which pic you entered in that contest? :)

    • NiHaoYall says:

I entered the bridge picture. Sorta wished I’d entered the picture of Poppy, but oh well!
Glad to hear you’re in the class, too! It’s gonna be so fun :)

  7. I’m in lisa’s class too – and I’m so excited (and have been practicing shooting in manual!). We will have so much fun!
