It was kind of a crazy week with Snapshots.
None my most favorite-y Snapshots contained a face. And only one of them has a person as the focal point.
But they are all stunning.
From Diana at First a Pearl, then Three Rubies.
What a breathtaking silhouette.
Sarah at the Naptime Momtog.
That barn. That sky. That barn.
Jaymi at Live. Love. Travel.
Love everything about this picture, especially the sun flare. She has a tutorial on her website about sun flare here.
And Katy at Where There is Love…There is Life.
So much energy captured so beautifully in one image.
I’m so not the outdoors-y type. I don’t like bumpy rides. And I’m even less fond of bumpy rides in the snow. But this picture makes me want to do both. Now. A fantastic capture – composition, focus, color – of a moment that speaks volumes about their recent rock crawling excursion. And the snow. Oh my.
Way to go, Katy. Your picture will be entered into this month’s Sunday Snapshot post, to be voted on by y’all, the readers. The June winner will receive a spot in Push Past Your Comfort Zone, a photography course offered by Lisa from The Long Road to China.
I really enjoyed visiting all the links this week. I saw lots of new faces… what fun it was to “meet” some of y’all this week and get to know others a bit more. If you haven’t joined in yet, but want to improve your photography skills, I hope you’ll give it a shot. And be sure to read the linked posts, many of them have details on the settings as well as photography and/or editing tips.
See y’all on Sunday!
