…that a plain ol’ frog could be such fun on a hot afternoon?
Sophie came running into the house, panting.
“Mom, you gotta come see!”. And just as quickly as she ran in, she ran back out.
How could I resist a cliffhanger like that?
I ran out and soon realized I needed to run back in. For my camera.
They were all so tickled that the frog appeared to have made himself right at home.
In the driver’s seat of Jude’s Tonka truck.
Maybe keeping everyone happy this summer isn’t going to be such a challenge after all.
Just maybe.

I just stumbled onto your blog by accident, and wow! I love your photographs! What fun! I, too, would love to learn to take better pictures someday. And we have a little pet who looks EXACTLY LIKE YOUR TONKA TRUCK DRIVER — his name is Toad and he lives in a tank in our son’s bedroom. We also just recently adopted a baby — not from overseas, but he’s biracial, and we are head over heels in love. Your family looks like a ton of fun. Hope you don’t mind if I pop in from time to time to see your photography!
