a new favorite

Right now I’m in the midst of Lisa’s photography class.

It’s called Push Past Your Comfort Zone.

And, oh my, are we doing that.

This week we are working on low-light photography – something I have always disliked. Because I stink at it.

But, to my surprise, I ended up capturing a low-light moment that I don’t actually hate.

In fact, I really-kinda-sorta love it.

We were out checking on the ponies before bed and the kiddos love to come out with me. I grabbed my camera, just in case, and took several pictures that, not surprisingly, I wasn’t too crazy about. But, as we were getting ready to head in, I looked back to see Dalton wishing Poet one last goodnight.
