Tell me about your picture, Lula.
“Sun right here.” Pointing to, obviously, the sun.
“And this ladybug. And this one. And this one.”
“And this one and this one.”
Evidently she drew more lady bugs than we can see here.
“And this one you, mama.”
Why did you draw mama with the ladybugs, Lula?
“‘Cause the ladybugs go outside.”
Hmmmm.

And so why did you draw mama with the ladybugs?
“‘Cause they go home. Um ’cause, um ’cause you want follow them, mama.”
Alrighty then. I think this is a good place to stop asking questions.
Because ladybugs make me think of only one thing. And if God wants us to do that, He’s going to have to send a lot more than a ladybug.
No matter how adorable this one is.
I'm a regular mama who happens to have twelve kids - four homegrown, seven from China, one in heaven - and one very busy husband.

Seems a little someone knows a little something….God sure is creative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs my friend!

That is so stinking cute!
that is really sweet! She’s so darling. My 3.5 yr old daughter told us last night she has a sister named Polly (big surprise to us!) and we need to get her. hhmmm….seems these little ones might know something about something
I’m not too sure I know what ladybugs mean?
I’m not too sure either, Rebecca!
But here is how the tale goes: “Several years ago in China, as the international adoption programs were beginning to take off, there was a fall season where the ladybug population grew unusually large. This was thought to be a lucky charm for those that were adopting, so now whenever ladybugs are seen, it is said that more beautiful children are being referred to wonderful waiting parents.”
Ohhh! a precious boy who waits and hopes for a family all because he is a boy.
Lol! Out of the mouths of babes!
Sounds like God is telling you something in a super creative way…through your littlest girl
Oh so precious… perhaps she really is telling you something.
heehee LOVE the 2nd picture – I would make it look like a watercolor and print it – the emotion is incredible. But you probably won’t have time because that’s and awful lot of ladybugs (signs!)
Extremely adorable! Love her little face. Sometimes these little ones know more than we could ever imagine. You might just want to listen to that one–plus, she’s too darn cute.
Well……You are moving into a mighty big house!!
I think soon enough you might find yourself paper pregnant!
Right from the beginning, I was gonna say, “It sure sounds like a Ladybug sighting to me!”
Yes, it does.
You know how we got started into adoption the first two times right?
OK – the third time we were open to His call – but the first two time….
just.sayin’….
hugs – aus and co.
LOL Ok, I can totally be grinning and laughing right now, because thank my lucky stars, it’s not MY child who said that! Whew!
Maybe it just shows she is well aware you came to get her and listened to God to bring her home. But I like the theory of your family expanding even more!
LOL!!! She is so precious!! It is amazing to me how God works. This adoption has been more of a journey of faith and growth in God then I ever could have imagined. It has truly required a full surrender to God on my part as I give up my wants to focus on what God wants…
Very interested to see where this journey takes us all!
LOL! It will be fun to see if this was the start of something new……
)
hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Um, first, your daughter is BEAUTIFUL and so adorable and smart and sweet – praise God.
Also, I love this. That commenter is right: out of the mouths of babes! xo
??? I wonder what it all means! I love this post and it has me wondering, guessing, thinking, and praying for y’all. Whatever His will may be!
