Look at this sweetness.
The newest arrival to Morning Star. Meet Joy.
Meredith and I talked a bit about this precious little one and her desperate need for corrective surgery in the next few months. And we both agreed, we should use the funds generated by the sale of So Loved to help heal her broken heart.
From Meredith: “A new little one joined our family over the weekend.. and she’s already completely stolen every single heart.
She’s 16 months old and her heart is so broken. The moment she was handed to me, she snuggled right in. Big eyes, the longest eyelashes you’ll ever see, locked on mine. I could feel her heart beating hard against my chest, a rhythm all her own. This little one. 16 months old and the story she’s already lived could very well have broken her heart… would break your heart to hear.”
Please partner with us through So Loved. For Joy.
You can purchase a So Loved, knowing that 100% of the proceeds go directly to Morning Star Foster Home on behalf of Joy.
If you already have a So Loved, you can stop right now and give yourself a big ol’ squeeze from me. And another on behalf of Meredith and Joy and all the children who have been blessed by your generosity.
Then you can either find an old picture of you or your little one in their So Loved (or take a new one) and share it on FB or Instagram with the hashtags #solovedtee and #msfh. If you’re shy, and don’t want to post a So Loved selfie, you can grab an image from here.
So no excuses, y’all.
When you share on FB or IG, include a bit about So Loved and what it does for the broken-hearted. And maybe link back to this post so others can partner with us on behalf of the fatherless and the broken-hearted. You never know, that one little share might make a big difference for the sweet ones at Morning Star.
And if you share between now and Friday at midnight, you’ll also be entered to win a So Loved for yourself or anyone you choose (with a US address). We are giving away 6 shirts in honor of the little love who started So Loved.
Between August and December 2014, $2200 was raised from the sale of So Loved and donated to Morning Star on behalf of Kate. Since the beginning of 2015, almost $2500 has been raised. And we have until July 31st to raise even more. Because heart surgeries are expensive, but a mended heart? Priceless.
Hoping and praying you’ll partner with me, Meredith and Morning Star. For Joy.
