I mailed out Sophie's fourth care package on Thursday. The first one was mailed right after we received our pre approval and I have had the best time collecting goodies to send to her, her friends at the SWI and the nannies. We also mailed out a big box of blankets, hats, mittens and cleft nursers after we heard that Guilin, Sophie's SWI, was in great need of these things. It made my heart ache to think of little ones being cold and hungry this winter. Hopefully that big dog made it through customs and to the SWI. What’s up ladybug?
My son pointed out this sweet ladybug crawling across my McDonald's cup last Friday. I am not really superstitious, actually I'm not at all superstitious, but for some reason seeing this little lady scurrying across my cup gave me the warm feeling that maybe our dossier is going to be logged in soon. It has been almost 3 weeks and I am so looking forward to having a date to start counting from! Travel Approvals (TAs) usually take about 60-90 days to arrive after a dossier is logged in. Movin’ up
Since we decided to adopt again, we had to trade in the Honda Odyssey we bought in 2004 in anticipation of having 5 children. At that time we thought a 7 seat vehicle would do us right for the long haul. Well, God had other plans. Soooo, as soon as Chris came home, we headed over to our local Honda dealer and traded in our 2004 for a 2006 Honda Odyssey. And all I can say is "WOW!" The beginning
Our journey to Sophie Lulu began many months ago.On September 7th, our lives forever. It was the day I first laid eyes on the face of an angel who, by the grace of God, will become our daughter... our second daughter from China and our sixth child.
