Got in safely last night.And, upon settling in safely at our hotel, we talked.And talked.And... well, you get the picture.So this morning we got up late - at least later than usual - and laid around.Simply because we can.No noses to wipe.No mouths to feed.Other than our own.Which, at least for a few days, is pretty wonderful.We can just hang out.And do whatever we wanna do.And, if you hadn't already guessed, we're a pretty rowdy crew.Looking forward to seeing what the day holds. … [Read more...]

Believe it or not, I'm off for a "girls weekend" with my Wild Olive buds.And after two weeks of being a solo-mama, I am oh-so ready.Chris was home last Sunday, but left again on Monday.... just in time for the next round of snowstorms.But all that is behind me now.My husband is home.My kids are content (probably cheering that their well-rested daddy has taken over for this wrung-out mama).And I am sitting in the Boston airport, ready to get to Nashville for the weekend to begin.More to come.
