You'd think that our kiddos would have had these for a while.I mean, Sophie has been home for almost 5 years. And Jude almost 4. But since I traveled without Chris to bring Sophie and Jude home, a US Certificate of Citizenship was a $400+ fee and one loooong application away.For each kiddo.So, I did what most folks do. I procrastinated.Eventually, good sense prevailed and we submitted the arm and leg items requested by the USCIS.And whadaya know. A few weeks later, two big, fat envelopes arrived. Sunday Snapshot: {Victoria}

I've already shared a couple of the pictures I took of Tori while she was home.But I saved a few for today.These are my favorites... out of the 1,892 that I took.Because this girl?Is pretty fun to photograph.And honestly, she's just pretty fun. Sunday Snapshot: {Dalton turns 9}

Admittedly, this was supposed to be last Sunday's Snapshot.But better late than never, right?Last Saturday was Dalton's big day. And to celebrate we took the crew over to the Shipyard.First stop? The Rec Center.Where they have free all-you-can-stand popcorn.And a flat screen TV. With an X-Box.By this point, this place already had some big fans.We brought in some goodies as well.So really, there was something to put a smile on everyone's face. We got some new hats in the mail the other day.It was reason enough to take everyone outside and try 'em out.Camera in hand, of course.Clearly, the kiddos were pretty darn excited. Other than birthdays and Christmas, there aren't a whole lot of occasions that they get new stuff in the mail.I let them each pick their very favorite hat to model.Some kids, ahem... picked more than one.But with a smile like that? Sunday Snapshot: {mighty Shep}

Our littlest guy turned four last week.And it was good.Even though it was the third year - in a row - we celebrated his birthday with Cars.This year, we did the Cars theme... but on vanilla cupcakes.At Shepherd's request.Clearly, he was happy with how they turned out.They weren't all Cars themed, though.I made a few for the girls. Some flowers. Some Christmas trees.And maybe one for my sweet Poppy.Shepherd has come so far.
