Recently I have figured out the key in assuring that Isabelle takes a nice, long afternoon nap: stuff her. She will tire of one food and I used to assume that she was done. I have since realized I just need to try new things until she really is done. My new found tidbit has paid off in spades, she’s been going down right after lunch and napping for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Long enough to carry her into evening without getting cranky. Today she finished a hot dog and some cheese and then a taquito. Not the healthiest I know, but I really need to make a run to the grocery. Anyway, she, as expected, got really tired. But a bit earlier than I planned. She started to nod off in the high chair. She was so cute I just had to get some pictures of her. And yes, that is snow that is outside the window behind her. We got about 2″ last night. Perfect way to ring in the first day of spring, dontcha think?
She is precious! When do you expect Sophie to join her forever family? We are in the process of adopting a little girl from Korea. We are hoping to travel this summer.
