going Hollywood

We were on our way to celebrate Tori’s straight A’s (yeah, Tori!) at Johnny Carino’s last night and we were being silly putting our sunglasses on the girls. They actually looked pretty stylish sitting in their sweet Britax carseats wearing some shades. I often wonder why I was content to put my older children in $50 car seats, but for Sophie and Isabelle I just HAD to have the super fancy, super expensive, Britax seat. Anyways, I digress. After we got to the restaurant we had a funny experience. We sat down and the waitress approached our table. Now before this I had commented to Chris that when we’re at home, our family seems ‘normal’ sized, not too many kids and not too crazy. But when we go out, our family seems HUGE. Like Chris and I are teachers taking our class on a field trip to Wal-Mart or wherever we’re going. We open the doors to the Odyssey and children just spill out everywhere. So when the waitress approached and asked “Will this all be on one ticket?”, Chris and I couldn’t keep ourselves from laughing out loud. Maybe she thought Tori was the other mom?!?

Too funny re: the restaurant. We went out the other night, and some guy asked DH if they were all his. Wow…and this isn’t even all of ’em yet (waiting on TA). rotfl

It only seems like a bunch of kids some days…
