What makes it all better? Ice cream!

Sophie is sick. She got the bug Isabelle had that gave Isabelle a double ear infection. Well, this nasty bug gave Sophie some serious bronchitis, a fever and a general crankiness. We have been standing on our heads trying to please her, but sometimes it just isn’t enough. The picture of her crying was when Isabelle sat in the chair she had just gotten up from, willingly. When she’s tired or fussy, she really doesn’t like to share, even if it’s something she’s already done with. We took her to the doctor who prescribed some antibiotics and albuterol for her wheezing. Hopefully she’ll be back to her adorable, belly-laughing self soon. But even though she was feeling yucky, she managed to down some fudge ripple ice cream. She and Isabelle had a great time when I finally let them both go at it by themselves. They were suprisingly proper and tidy about it, no extra bath required!

How precious is that? I have been following your journey to China to meet your new daughters and have enjoyed your sites so much. You have a beautiful family. May God continue to bless you and your family and thank you so much for sharing this with us. My husband and I are awaiting our referral, LID 6/20/05, for our first child. Your site and ones like it are so inspiring and helpful. Thanks again.
