Hello spring + new ‘dos

Today is the official first day of spring.

In honor of the special day I took the girls to Sweet and Sassy to get haircuts. Actually, I took them today because Wednesdays are 10% off ‘kiddie cuts’ and a girl’s gotta save money anywhere she can, right?

I love Sweet and Sassy, they actually do a pretty decent job and frankly, someone who can cut Isabelle’s hair in a semi-straight fashion without leaving any gaping holes gets my unequivocal stamp-of-approval.

Honestly, keeping Isabelle still enough to use a scissors that close to her head is quite a task. And it’s such a girl-y place; they put glittery spray in the girls hair when they’re done and give them their choice of a fancy lollipop.

Sophie picked a pink flower and Belle picked a blue baseball. Go figure.

For cuts Sophie just got a trim, we still waiting for the sides to catch up to the front.

Isabelle, on the other hand, got a whole new look. Her hair has started to go straight (I know, it IS sad) so I figured let’s get it over with and just chop it off. Plus, it’s spring and her hair grows like crazy.

And her current ‘do was starting to look like a grown out perm. So now she’s got this cute little wavy bob and she looks so big!

Where has my baby gone?

Aww… I love how you photograph the girls! Isabelle and Sophie got great hair dids. I read your other post and so glad that Isabelle is making positive steps in the right direction. You are the perfect match for that little girl. She will teach you and you her. Her little voice is so sweet.

Blessings to you and you family,

Adorable! Love their hair…….which reminds me that I need to take my girls in for trims. Mommy’s scissors don’t seem to cutting it anymore!

They are so cute! Your pictures are awesome! Isabelle does look so grown up with her new do, but that little sweet smile is still there – hope that never goes away 🙂
