Memorial Day fun

On Memorial Day we did what most of America probably did, we went to a party. We were graciously invited to a fellow adoptive family’s house to celebrate with a cookout and pool party. It always amazes me when people invite us over. I mean, we’re NOT a small family. And half of our kids are under 6. Inviting us over can be inviting disaster, big time. So, we accepted 🙂 Kelley is an awesome hostess and has a beautiful family. Her husband is an amazing cook and can make the most delicious ribs you’ve ever put in your mouth. Their new house sits on a hill above a lake with a huge pool and hot tub in the back. My kids had such a great time that when it was time to go, they asked when we could come back. Thankfully Belle didn’t have an ‘accident’ in their hot tub and our boys didn’t actually break anything, so maybe we will be invited back someday 🙂
