Round 2

Well done, guys! Some of you got really close! Not only was I impressed by some of the guesses, but others had me laughing out loud (Laine, Hayley, Maia and Anna ~ you guys had me almost peeing my pants) and others had me wanting to cry (Patricia… TORI? ENGAGED?!? She’s STILL my baby! and Tory and Cate, pregnant with multiples? Now THAT makes my stomach churn, I’ve endured four pregnancies, each one more stressful (and painful) than the last.. no, no, no longer a possibility for us πŸ˜‰
So, that leaves the other options. And no, Jude is not walking independently, YET. So there you have it. There IS indeed a little one in China who has our names written on their heart.
SO, what I really want to get are guesses about this child…
BOY OR GIRL?
AGE?
SN? If you know us, you KNOW it’s a waiting child πŸ˜‰
LOCATION?
And any other specifics you want to throw in there πŸ™‚
I know some of you have given me some good solid guesses (Laine, Desiree, Holly, Melissa, Keri and Martha, my hat’s off to you!) But just in case you want to add more detail, or even change your guess, feel free.
I want to add that I have so enjoyed reading ALL the comments, and I am reminded how much I enjoy our bloggy community! Ya’ll are making me all mushy… I must be p, p, paperchasing!!
So, like I said before, I know you all are salivating over this *prize*, you’ll be the lucky recipient of: the closest guess wins a special gift straight from China, purchased by yours truly. Woo! Hoo!
So have at it!

What?!!! You have got to be the luckiest family out there!!! This is WONDERFUL news!
OK (since you are not expecting triplets) my guess is:
A girl, age 1 or 4. SN is limb difference. From southern part of China and she has the same birthday as either you or your husband, or one of your other children. She also has a dimple on her chin and LOVES pizza.
I hope that is specific enough. πŸ™‚

This is GREAT news! I’m thrilled for your family and your new little one.

Boy, born in November of 2006
Special need: Club feet (2nd guess is cleft palate)
    Province: Guizhou

You are crazy, but in the best, God-filled way. What a blessing this brings to a waiting child and to your big family. And in this time of the year, it’s a great reminder that there’s “always room at the inn” for a child.

Oh yay! Yay! Yay! I will just live vicariously through you, because in my heart of hearts I just feel there’s another child out there for us, but alas, husband doesn’t feel that way. (And I’m so okay with that right now–little overwhelmed at the Ferrill home!)
Stefanie! I am just so excited I can’t take it!
I’m sticking with my original story: a sweet 6 year old girl, limb difference, and I’ll say from central China.
    Can’t wait to meet her!
Again, I cannot contain my excitement. I had to share with husband last night and showed him your blog. Now he’s in on the fun, too!
Yay! yay! Yay! Did I mention how thrilled I am? πŸ™‚

Wow! I just knew it in my heart and I am just so thrilled for you! We have been home 3 months and already my heart has been prompted to adopt again, although not from China (surprisingly!). We truly cannot afford it and feel that God is using our financial circumstances right now to keep us at bay, trusting Him for when the time is right! Do you think you could get a CCAA discount since you have paid enough of the fees so many times? Okay, maybe not but you SHOULD! Perhaps it isn’t the precious children in China you love, but it’s the rapid weight loss via sweating to death in GZ that you are really after, ha ha ha. Just kidding!
I’m guessing that this future sweetie is a little boy and I’m going to guess that he is 4 years old. His special need is that he is missing one BIG loving family who will show Him the way to the Savior! Perhaps he is a cleft affected child too, but that is secondary to the fact that he needs YOU ALL!
How much longer are you gonna make everybody wait????
Do we get to guess on names too?!
    Blessings,
    Holly
