Here are a few of Mr. Cutie Pie. In fact, I think these are some of my very favorite of all the updated pictures we received (22 in all!) Yes, my agency is AWESOME! Our in-China coordinator went to the orphanage herself to take pictures of all the waiting kiddos there. I was forewarned that he had had a run in with some cement (or some such surface) as his lip is all scratched up. Good thing he’s a boy!
I love the picture where he’s refusing to take the cell phone from the director’s hand. He looks like such a crack up! It makes these old, worn out arms long to hold that sweet boy!
We are finishing up our paperchase right now, just waiting on the 171 to come to complete our dossier. In fact, all our other docs are making their way through the Houston Consulate as we speak (WOOOHOOO!!) While it does get easier with each paperchase, it’s still just as much work, just not as stressful 😉 And it helps having three incredible blessings here to remind me, it is so worth every ounce of energy expended! Since this is our (most likely) last paperchase, I had set a goal of 3 months, start to finish. Since our referral was on October 26, I am hoping and praying to be DTC by January 26. God Himself would have to deliver our 171 for us to manage that, so you can bet I’m saying my prayers!
