It’s a good thing he’s so darn cute

This boy is into EVERYTHING! I am so excited for him, now that he is finally truly walking. But.. this new *uprightness* that comes from being able to walk well has brought with it a whole new set of considerations. He loves to get into all sorts of things, his favorite being any place that he might find something sharp, sticky or extremely breakable. We have all the truly dangerous stuff behind baby locks but, seriously, this kid can get into trouble with a roll of scotch tape, a fork and a clothes pin. He’s gifted, I tell ya. Here he is foraging through our utensils drawer. He can’t see in, he just has to go in, feel around, and pull out whatever feels most *useful* to him. Usually he prefers to carry around several spoons in a variety of colors. On this day I busted him in the act, so he, without hesitation, casually closed the drawer and made a sweet segue into telling me about his fantastic ‘backpack’ he had on… just like “Boots”! Forget Dora mom, Jude is into Boots. And when he talks about Max and Ruby? It’s Max, no need to even say “Ruby”. When I remind him about Ruby he just laughs. Ahhhh… boys ๐Ÿ™‚

Awwww… cute! Sophia is a mischief maker lately (see recent post on awesome locks!) and also LOVES Max & Ruby (her favorite!)

Do I see a love connection between these two in the future? I think so….

Cracks me up…..with my four boys leading this crazy clan of ours I totally get what you are saying about Max and Boots. Mandi is ALL princess and dress up but Sarah is certainly giving EVERYONE a run for their money now that she feels so much better ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m just realizing I followed your trip to adopt Jude. I think because he is a boy, and I was adopting a boy (Bennett)… anyway, he’s so cute!

Bennett is the same. He is my 4th child, but the first I’ve had to truly childproof for. He’s into it all.

Just the other day she ran out of the kitchen & said, “I’m looking for something sharp!”…nice.

How do you ever correct that child! I would have the hardest time trying to discipline him. He is going to get away with murder in your family insn’t he?

Jude is soooo beautiful…how could you ever say “no” to those eyes. He and Shepherd will probably be two peas in a pod. I can’t wait to see what the two of them get into!
