Shepherd’s Crossing!

It’s UP!! I am thrilled to announce that Shepherd’s site is up and is now ‘live’ ๐Ÿ™‚ Our family voted on the final list of names and the winner was ‘Shepherd’s Crossing’, submitted by Cath. Thanks so much Cath for the great idea, and to everyone who offered a suggestion. I am beyond happy with how the site turned out, I think it’s beautiful!! And a big thanks Joe and Jen!!
One of the links on Shepherd’s site is called “From 7 to 8”. It’s about our journey from 7 kids to 8 and is a very honest account (actually excerpts from the diary I kept during that time) of how God led us down the path to our sweet boy ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s not pretty and it’s not terribly well-written, but it was my hope in sharing it that someone else might be encouraged on their journey down the less traveled road of special needs adoption, it’s a sometimes painful and bumpy ride!! It’s long winded though, so if you decide to read it, have a cup of coffee ready ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh Stefanie…it is so beautiful and perfect! And did I have time to read the 7 to 8 post? Nope! Did that stop me? Nope! I was captured, mesmerized, encouraged, amazed…and so thankful to know such an awesome momma! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Shepherd’s story is truly such a God-inspired life story…this little man already has quite a legacy…
I love you and your beautiful family!

LOVED IT! Joe & Jen are so wonderful – I can’t wait until it’s time to create our site with them again, it was one of the most positive experiences : ))

you tell your amazing story so well – it’s a beautiful testimony of God’s sovereignty in a surrendered life. well done.

    Stef,

Bologna on the 7 to 8 not being well-written. It’s heart-level. Thank you for being real!

Yeah! I can’t wait to read it and take it all in. I did a quick peak, and it looks great!!! I LOVE the quote you chose on the home page! I am so excited to “travel” with you again! I wish I could go with you! I am grateful that precious Shepherd is safe an that he has not been affected by the earthquakes….
    Blessings while you wait!

Dear Stefanie…..WOW!! LOVE, LOVE the 7 to 8 post!!! And I second the bologna thoughts too….it’s truth, it’s real, it’s what you needed to say. I have to say how much I have related to all of those feelings that you’ve shared as we’ve prayed through this second adoption. I tell ya though….right now I’m in tears….I’ll email you. Too much, too much going on. Hugs to you for sharing your walk with us! ~Anita

    Stefanie,
I enjoyed looking at Shepherd’s site and reading your story. Don’t worry…I love details and reading people’s inner thoughts on their important decisions. I’ll be in touch soon!

Stefanie – it is beyond beautiful and I have to tell you – anything you write is well written – I could read your thoughts and stream of consciousness for hours on end. You are real, poignant, Godly and amazing.

You touch me and we pray for your family and especially Shepherd as he is prepared to come home.

    Just love you, girl!
