Chen Academy

I am infatuated with China. Beauty surrounds, mingled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These pictures were taken the day we visited the Chen Academy, I wish I had been able to spend an afternoon there, just soaking in the intracacies of the building, the gardens, the people.

Fabulous photos!! Brought me right back! I actually got tears in my eyes when I saw the blue glass window with the bird….LOVED that when I first saw it & that’s the first time Kiara pointed to something when we were there!!
Thanks for sharing & bringing back such awesome memories! ๐Ÿ™‚

    You’re ALMOST HOME!!!!

Ah! The Chen Family compound…did you get to hear the gourd flutes? My 11 year old had to buy one…the only souvenir she really got excited about during our 2 week stay in China!
Beautiful place…wonderful experience even in the extreme heat!
