I am infatuated with China. Beauty surrounds, mingled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These pictures were taken the day we visited the Chen Academy, I wish I had been able to spend an afternoon there, just soaking in the intracacies of the building, the gardens, the people.
Fabulous photos!! Brought me right back! I actually got tears in my eyes when I saw the blue glass window with the bird….LOVED that when I first saw it & that’s the first time Kiara pointed to something when we were there!!
Thanks for sharing & bringing back such awesome memories! 🙂
You’re ALMOST HOME!!!!
Beautiful pictures! It has been a year since we were in China and I would love to go back someday.

Beautiful photos! I’ve so enjoyed following along on your special trip. I can’t wait to go and see some of of these sights, and most of all share what you’re experiencing ….someday;-).

Ah! The Chen Family compound…did you get to hear the gourd flutes? My 11 year old had to buy one…the only souvenir she really got excited about during our 2 week stay in China!
Beautiful place…wonderful experience even in the extreme heat!
