Learning about big and little

Here’s what happens when mommy is busy painting (and painting and painting)… the kids find ways to entertain themselves. On this day Isabelle, Sophie and Jude got into the clip drawer and managed to find a few thermometers as a bonus. Isabelle decided that the headband was a happening look for her and added a thermometer behind the ear to boot. Lookin’ good, girl! Auntie Kris, this pic is for you ๐Ÿ™‚

So, today I was wipin’ some Isabelle hiney and then decided to use the restroom myself. The following conversation ensued…
Isabelle: “Little. Mei Mei’s panties little, Mama.”
Me: “Yes, Mei, they are little.”
Isabelle: “Mama’s panties big.”… “Really, really big.”
Me: sigh. Thanks for pointing that out, Isabelle.

I call Avonlea Mei too. I wonder sometimes in public if people think her name is MAY? I also had a conversation that was similar to this today…but was told my butt was BIG. Also a *sigh* yes Mei…it is.

LOL Oh me too. Have had this one except about my booty vs their booties…:)

I just love to paint! Isnt that loony? I wish I could come right over, add my turkeys to your turkeys (for some extra ideas on how they could get in to mischief together!) and grab a brush!

So funny! Those conversations must be going around – my littlest felt compelled to point out that while his sister LadyBug and I do indeed look a lot a like, I am “waaaaaaay bigger” than LadyBug. “Way.” Thanks BBE!

Got TA on Friday! Have any packing lists that you work off that you are willing to share with a newbie?!

Have fun painting – we’re done all home improvement projects till the dead of winter. The fact that we did three total room redo’s from April thru July should carry us a while, don’t ya think?!

off to pack . . . or at least read up on packing . . .

    OH that is HILARIOUS!!!!!!

btw- Run and grab yourself some bikini panties, 2 sizes to small. Just keep them in the drawer and then throw them in the wash every now and then, and have your kiddos or better yet, your hubby help with the folding when they come out. Then when they hold them up asking “whose panties are these”, you non-chanlantly claim them. Your rear-end with finally get the respect it deserves. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Thanks for the smile!

None of us are as old, big or fat as they think we are, right!!??

Hope you are beginning to feel a bit more settled. We need a bigger house, but I really don’t think I can take the move..I feel for you!

    Howdy!
I am just checking in on you, and I read about your Daddy. I am so sorry! No words, other than a big hug being sent your way. I can not believe how incredible Shepherd’s feet look already!! Amazing! He looks like he is doing fantastic! I hope once you settle into your Fall routine, that there will be lots of rainbows in your world!
