Finally

Need a laugh? Lisa, one of my very bestest friends, has finally started a blog. She and I have been friends since 2000, when our husbands were in the same squadron in Podunk, Oklahoma. There wasn’t much for us wives to do except hang out… and some of my closest friendships grew out of that assignment. She’s honestly one of the funniest people I’ve ever known and I am psyched I’ll be able to get a daily dose of her through A Motherlode. I wish I could say she started blogging at my insistence, but she ignored me for so long I gave up. Noooo, she relented when someone made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. She’s an award- winning writer, (oh, yes she is) and she’ll have you giggling so hard your eyes will water (mine were when I just read her “Self-Cut Bang” post)!
Go check it out and tell her what you think… and have a tissue ready.

HA!! I couldn't believe it when I looked at your blog and saw the pic of Lisa. My daughter, Allison, babysat quite a bit for them when we were stationed in "Podunk, OK". My daughter loved those kids…thought they were precious. Time flies, Allison was 12 when we left Oklahoma…she is now a junior at Texas A&M!!!

I was so born in “Podunk, OK!” I know just the town you mean. We’re stationed a ways from there now (maybe that’s a good thing :). Looking forward to checking out her blog, because I love yours.

    All the best.

oh snap.. I just read her most recent post today and literally about peed my pants. not sure I didn’t. I will have to go back when I have a chance and catch up on some of her other posts. Good for you for managing to wrangle her into blogging.. Now if we can just team up against your sister ..maybe.

btw- Isn’t this the friend you have been wanting to hook me up with (well not, “hook me up” with.) you know.. cause she seems just the right amount of crazy.. I think it might be a good match. Well not a “match”.. you know.

    That is some funny stuff!

Catch ya’ later.. I know I owe you a call. 🙂

    hugs~
    Amie

p.s. been to Rebecca’s blog lately?? She is doing a really cool raffleway! check it out!
