Well, I had a post all written out, but blogger is being extremely unaccommodating tonight (well, that and the fact that I am totally pooped and probably hit the wrong button inadvertently). But here are some pics of the success we had while my mom and sister were here over the Labor Day weekend. We were able to get all three upstairs bedrooms done, including the master bath (which had been a complete eyesore before). I am incredibly grateful for all the help (they both worked so hard!), I can honestly say this house now feels like home π

WOW!!! Absoutely beautiful!! All that hard work certainly paid off!!
You know, I wish we lived closer…I would have loved to help you paint!! (One of my favorite things to do!)
So glad to see you back to blogging!
HUGS!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I want to see some before and after pics!!!! So glad it feels like home. It is such an immense feeling of peace and it’s very “settling”. So happy for you! And it’s GORGEOUS!
Well, it IS amazing. Naturally – since they weren’t any details (dang, blogger!) I have to ask about the bathroom cupboards – did you paint them? We have some ugly cabinets that the hubs says we CAN’T replace. Hmmf. Apparently they are “just fine” – but I love the color of your bathroom ones!!
The house looks great! I love the sinks (and everything else) in the bathroom.
Looks fabulous. Lots of hard work but looks fab.
Hope to see ya ’round these parts more!
Gorgeous! So happy that you all had a good time AND got these rooms done. You must be exhausted π
Beautifully done.
Very nice. Love the colors, especially the stripes in the boys room.
Everything looks beautiful!!! I have been amazed that you moved and are getting a new house ready to live in with all your little ones. I only had one 3 year old- I actually made her a play area first and she was fine. Your rooms look so wonderful- like you have been there forever! Did you get the Chinese prints while in China or are they from here? I would love to hang something like that in EK’s room. Hope you have a blessed day!

The house looks FABULOUS!!! It is really gorgeous. I am glad you had the help of your Mom and sister. Sheperd’s feet look great too. The change is remarkable. You are such a great Mom for seeking exactly the right treatment for him and doing everything you had to do to make that happen…such Mother love:)
Looks great! Welcome home. π I bet you girls had a great time too!
You weren’t kidding around, Were you? Looks Fabulous!!! Girl, you have got to be toast! praying for a “slow” week so that you can recuperate and fuel up to do it all over again. Though given what’s going around your house right now, that doesn’t exactly start you off on the right foot.;) At least you know you have company dealing with a bit of the same. Good times!
Glad you are starting to feel like you are home!
