Day in the woods

I am currently taking a photography course taught by Christi from Rawsii. And I am truly enjoying it, especially when my eyes aren’t bleeding from having to read and comprehend in order to actually learn something. That is, something that requires more contemplation than a 3-ingredient dinner recipe. Or 3rd grade math. (I can do both of those.)
We have twice weekly assignments and as the assignments build, so does the difficulty. I haven’t found time to get out and get the pictures I need for my ‘homework’ so finally, at the insistence of my husband, this afternoon I did. I took my most cooperative models and off we went them to the park. Even better than playing at the park was the potential of adventure in the woods that backed up to the park, so in we went.

What a treat to see these two together. No doubt they are brothers! They are such gorgeous children.
The photographs look wonderful and I couldn’t help thinking how on Earth did you corral those two to stay still to get the perfect shots. My 9 1/2 year old boy has the attention span of a tse fly! Getting him to stay still is the real challenge.

    Loved the photos!

I’d say those lessons are certainly paying off
(not that you don’t already take great pic’s).
