If you don’t believe

If you don’t believe that God is at work, you should now. Have you visited Joe and Jen’s site to see their total funds raised? They were able to raise not only her initial ‘goal’ of $500… but that goal THREE TIMES OVER. That’s right, Jen’s fundraiser raised over $1800. That’s enough for 24 new, safe cribs. Or 150 warm, new coats. That’s alotta really really good stuff.
AND, has anyone seen that total raised in the giveaway over at MckMama’s site? Like, knockin’ on $20,000???? Teee-wenty thousand (*emphasis on the TWENTY and then the THOUSAND*) has been raised. That means a lot of families are going to be blessed by this. Big time. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been stalking her blog all afternoon, just waiting to see the winner posted. I have no chance of winning, but my husband did purchase one ticket (just one, he’s so sensible)… I can’t wait to see WHO won!!
But the real ‘winners’ in all of this are the children who will be helped through the donations, sacrifice and hard work of His people. I am filled with awe and gratitude at the efforts being made by just regular moms and dads who have done so much to help these little ones. God’s fingerprints are all over the adoption community and on the collective hearts of adoptive parents. His heart for the orphan is so evident at times like this. I just love to witness God at work, don’t you?

When you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don’t go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans, and widows. Then the LORD your God will bless you in all you do.
Deuteronomy 24:19

Thank you soooo much, Stefanie! Thanks for helping to spread the word before the fundraiser, for your fabulous, wise input that allowed us to raise far more than I’d dreamed . . . and thank you especially for being the amazing advocate for sweet children in China!

Also – – your love for and faith in our loving God is so awesome!!

    Big Hugs,

    Jennifer
