I am so stinkin’ tired tonight. I have slept incredibly poorly this trip (I think it’s been the naps that have been my achilles heel) and I am, at last, tired at an appropriate time. I am going to be hitting the hay, so no tip tonight. They have been a bit more time consuming than I had anticipated and I am afraid my brain is so wrung out tonight, whatever I write might not even make sense. But I have a few tips in the ol’ hopper, they’ll be forthcoming soon. Sorry to disappoint anyone, but it is Sunday. And God said we should have a day of rest right? That’s my story. And I’m stickin’ to it.
If anyone has any topic about China and/or travel that they would like my .02 on, lemme know in the comment section…

Hi Stephanie…you don’t know me but I have followed you to China several times now through “My Adoption Website” and what a beautiful family that you have! A good friend of mine is in your (well I guess your sisters) group now in China…The Harkness Family adopted Alaina. They live in the same area that I do and I have gotten to be good friends with their family over the past several years! I saw Cole’s website on My Adoption Website and then I recognized you in one of the pictures and found your website…hope you don’t mind if I follow along :). Cole is a doll and so darn cute! Lucy said that Andrea and Cole don’t live far from us at all – very neat! My husband and I are both teachers for Gwinnett County Public Schools and Andrea doesn’t live far at all. Please say hello to her also. I hope you gets some sleep soon…Take care and I just wanted to say hello (I think Lucy might of mentioned something to either you or Andrea that a friend of hers follows your website and it is me) :).

THank you so much for sharing all this great info and beautiful pictures. I recently found your blog after we got referred a boy. To me it was a big surprise to get the call and hear it was a boy and your blog has really helped me change the pictures in my mind about how the future will be with a little brother instead of a little sister. If you have any thoughts on being a mommy of little boys adopted from China I’d love to hear them. I loved the post you have on your blog about this and I’d love to hear more. How is it to be in China holding a boy in your arms? What kinds of comments do you get? Does anyone say anything about the reasons boys are put up for adoption? I realize that you are in a very special time and place of your lives and I totally respect it if you don’t have the time and or interest to write about this. I just wanted to let you know what I’m more curious about and that I’ve really, really, really enjoyed your blog.
Sincerely, Emilia (Europe)
Mom of a little girl and now soon a little BOY!

Your pictures are A.MAZ.ING. I am duly impressed. 🙂 And, as you know, I have no good travel tips as my brain has turned to oatmeal. Oh, there’s a tip. Pack instant oatmeal for the room. Or did you say that already???
