sunshine + park = pictures

The kids and I grabbed some picnic supplies and headed to the park yesterday. It was too beautiful to spend the day inside.

Of course, a mom with her camera can’t resist a perfect photo opp on a day such as this.

That is, perfect when the subject matter actually wants to be in the picture.

Slowly, the subjects were whittled down…

to those who could be bribed coerced with a cookie.

Look who’s laughing now, boys.

Evidently, Shepherd prefers dandelions to cookies.

    Hey Stefanie.

You leave for China on my daughter’s 3rd birthday and my sweet girl is from Guangxi — not that that’s where you’re going. I just know your Vivi’s there and I see so much of your daughter in my Guangxi girl.

Just want to say I am so excited for you and just know that I will be praying for you on that day. I hope you will be able to see your newest baby girl. ๐Ÿ™‚
PS Looking at your children says so much to all of us (bloggy friends) about the kind of Mommy you are. You are a good one!

Adorable! You have such a gorgeous family!

I finally felt well enough to get out with the girls and we went to the playground, too. It was great fun, but I’m exhausted from chasing them up and down the stairs and slides. Hope you all have a great weekend!

These are really great pictures. I especially like the one of Shepard with the dandelion. What a cute little face.

Can’t wait to follow you to China and see what He has planned for you.

OK, so I’m posting again because I’ve been waiting to post on your “I’m off to China AGAIN” post but I haven’t seen a comment thingy there so here it is….

You are one WILD THANG! I think they are going to give you a “CREW” tag for your luggage because you pass through that airport so often.

You are amazing, Stef…..and your family and hubby are incredible for making it work when you are gone.

    Inspiration…..that’s what you are.
