uh oh

This morning she mentioned she had a tummy ache.

I reminded her that if she had a tummy ache, she couldn’t go to school.

She changed her mind.

(note: I do not, under any circumstances, use this tactic on my older, wiser children)

But tonight, she said it again.

And she added that her head hurt, too.

And her arms.

And her head.

Uh oh.

Nobody claims to be sick on a Friday night if they’re not really sick.

At least nobody in this house.

Clearly she’s not too sick if she’s doing her usual voguing silly-face-making for the camera.

And smiling for her mama who is temporarily ignoring her pleas for Max and Ruby and is, instead, taking her picture.

Oops. I spoke too soon.

She’s definitely not feeling well.

I have a sneaking suspicion it’s going to be a long weekend.

Hope yours is a good one 🙂

Hopefully it won't go longer than the weekend. Each of us got really sick and then quickly felt better.

Oh, I so hope you do not have to go though what I just went through with our sick kids. I have had sick kids at home for two weeks, from our oldest to our youngest. Alenna had her worst sickness ever, and our oldest has H1N1. It has been a fun two weeks! I will be praying that Isabelle gets better soon!

Hope she is feeling a lot better already! We've got a sick one, too, and she's off to the the pediatrician's in the morning for her second visit this week!

Poor thing- we've got it here too. The dreaded H1N1….

Hang in there, hope nobody else comes down with anything yucky!
