night, night

I stink! My bride is in China and I got task saturated and did not post this until tonight (morning in China). Man, how does she do all these things while maintaining her sanity… I can barely get to the computer before someone is hurt, hungry, harrassed, or hustling me to do something they know is wrong…

Anyway, back to the regularly scheduled program…

guilin

Much to say, but we left the hotel at about noon and we didn’t get back until almost 10:00PM. So this post will be light on words.

You’re welcome.

guilin1

The highlights included seeing all the kiddos at An Orphan’s Wish, visiting Vivi’s finding spot and spending the evening with the family that runs An Orphan’s Wish. It really was a great day.

Vivi continues to have her moments, but they are getting fewer and farther between. And she’s smiling and laughing more and more. She’s truly irresistible.

guilin2

Tomorrow we’ll do a bit of shopping and fly to Guangzhou in the evening.

Hopefully I’ll be able to post more of an update before we leave Guilin.

Must sleep now.

Chris – We think you're a pretty awesome guy!!

Stef – I hope you are getting to enjoy the gorgeous sights around Guilin. I think it has to be one of the most gorgeous places in China. I had high hopes to go after our stay in Nanning, but our agency said we didn't have time at the last minute. I hope to "travel" there through your photos.

Heading to Guangzhou is a huge step towards coming home. Woo hooo!!!!

Chris, we all wonder how she does all that she does…..and always looks lovely doing it. πŸ™‚ I'm sure you look lovely maintaining her schedule this week as well.

Stefanie, so excited to hear that you were able to spend some time with all of the kids and the Trowers! Can't wait to hear how all of the kids are doing and hopefully see some new pictures of them.

……and Vivi….she gets more adorable in each photo! Irresistible! Love that sweet smile!

I agree with Di. I think you are probably doing an amazing job. I am not sure that many people can do what Stef does. I am so glad things are going well;)

What a gift to visit Vivi's finding spot and be able to share all those details with her someday.

Chris, you're doing a GREAT job… most dad's wouldn't have a clue how to post on these blogs, so thanks for keeping us all updated. To say you have your hands full, would be an understatement. I don't quite know how your bride does it either…and still comes out the other end of the day with her sanity… she's a superhero in my eyes!! πŸ˜‰

Congratulations to all of you on your precious Vivi… I LOVE seeing her sweet smile!!

Can't believe you are already of to Guangzhou tomorrow… have fun and enjoy the shopping. Praying there is NO need to use any barf-bags! πŸ˜‰

    Hugs,

Thank you for the updates. I love them. The pictures are fabulous. I can't remember is this a different camera than what you have used before? The pictures seem crisper. Maybe it is my new netbook, I dunno, but the pictures are just talking to me.

    Vivi is just gorgeous.

I'm about to travel to Ethiopia to bring home our 9th child – 7th international adoption! I love reading other stories of His faithfulness!

Your husband blessed me with his honesty this morning too!

May God bless every moment of your time bonding in China. Happy Birthday to your Zach too.

Stef – irresistable – too weak a work – but we understand!

Chris – one dad to another – thanks for just being a Dad – way more important than being a 'father'!

Ladies in general (and said with my tounge firmly in my cheek here!) Dad's do to blog – and – we 'know' all about machines like computers and stuff like that …. I mean – we're guys!

hugs to the bunch of you –
