Before you read any further, I must insist that you answer two questions.
1. Do have a soft spot in your heart for the orphan?
Well… do ya? If you answered yes, read on.
If no, you’re probably on the wrong blog.
2. Do you have a few hours per month you are willing to give? For the orphan?
Believe me, I know it’s much easier to say “no” or “not now”. I’ve said that plenty of times myself. But if you’re teetering on possibly saying yes, or you’ve shouted “YES!” from the rooftops, read on.
Anyone still with me?
I hope so. Because I could really use your help.
Recently, I was humbled and honored to become the new Director of An Orphan’s Wish.
And what I would love, more than anything (except my new heated mattress pad cover), is to hear from anyone who is interested in volunteering for An Orphan’s Wish. To help, you don’t have to be a pro at quickbooks or able to write html code. If you answered yes to the two questions above, you are qualified.
Truly, all you need to have is a heart for the orphan. And there are countless ways to help.
If you are gifted in something, great. We can use you.
If you’re not specifically gifted, great. We can help you find your niche so you can serve too.
