Sunday Snapshot: {Love}

I found and fell in love with these dolls months ago.

And it didn’t take me long to find a holiday to justify buying one for each of my girls.

I just didn’t know which holiday that would be.

Turns out they arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Which is actually perfect, for several reasons.

First of all, these sweet dolls are soft, squishy and downright adorable.

What’s not to love.

Secondly, they are personalized. Each doll has our girl’s name written across her chest. Along with a Bible verse, chosen with each daughter in mind.

To remind them not only how much we love them, but how much He loves them.

And, they arrived *surprise!* dressed in the girls favorite colors. Orange for Sophie and pink for Isabelle.

They think that’s pretty cool, too.

Neither of the girls were expecting such a neat-o gift on Valentine’s Day. We typically go the cheap simple route and stick with candy and a special dinner.

But I’d ordered these dolls back at Thanksgiving, knowing it would be months before they were cut, sewn and created… just for my girls.

Seems I had to get in line behind lots of other folks that dig Baby Be Blessed Dolls, too.

So, really, their arrival was perfectly timed.

And I can take absolutely no credit.

But I can take pictures.

And relish the moment when girl first meets doll.

And love blooms.

***********************************

Hope you have a Happy Valentine’s Day.

And I hope, for your man’s sake, you get your heart’s desire on this special day.

I already got mine two blissful nights ago… in the form of a heated mattress pad. My man knows his woman well.

The only thing that’s missing is a box of See’s Chocolates. Let’s see if he knows his woman that well….

This is not the first time that I've seen those dolls. I remember thinking some time ago that I wanted to get one for Kylie. Now I'll just order two…
The smiles and sheer joy that you captured on Sophie and Isabelle's faces is priceless. Such beautiful girls, such happiness.
    Have a wonderful day!

Those pictures showing the girls' names and scriptures totally made me cry!
We are celebrating CNY today and not so much Valentine's Day.
The kids got chocolates a few days ago…and today…the big celebration with our small group…everyone is bringing a Chinese dish to share and we are going to have a time of worship. We are all so excited! ๐Ÿ™‚

What adorable pictures…I can hardly wait for ours…I ordered one each for two of my sons birthdays. I plan to give each child one this year at their bd so that they will all have a special doll with their name and a blessing.

I love the BBB dolls!! You reminded me to go on and order one. When I asked Charlotte which one she liked the most she of course pointed to the Maria Sue doll. They are just too precious (your girls and the dolls!) Happy Valentine's Day!

I love the colors on Isabelle's doll! That would be my pick. Did you get the See's? My in-laws flew in from the west coast just in time to deliver mine on Friday… the box is already half gone. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, and not to mention that 100% of the proceeds (of the Maria Sue doll!) goes to MBHOH (idea to my heart since Mya is a Luoyang girl!!) I have the prefect verse already picked out for ours ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh Stefanie!! I contacted Baby Be blessed in the summer and they said it would be MONTHS til any new orders would be filled, so I caved and abandoned ship! Now, I HAVE to go back and get back in line!! My issue is that I need a cutie little black haired one and a RED haired one, silly girls with different hair! :)Thanks for this post, it confirms I NEED to get these!

    Have a great day, girl!
