headed to Boston

We’re off to Boston this morning for an appointment with the kiddos at Boston’s Children. It will be a follow up for Jude and Shepherd, as their clubfoot has been corrected and they only require twice yearly visits. But for Vivi, this will be her first visit with an orthopedist to see how her little tootsies are doing.

We also expect to be referred out for some genetic testing. And, not gonna lie, I’m a little bit nervous. I’ve fallen so in love with my sweet girl, honestly whatever her special needs are, I know it’s going to be okay. For me.

I am just nervous for her.

I just wanted to share with y’all because you’ve been a big part of our journey to bring Vivienne home. You’ve prayed for us, smiled with us and cheered us on. And as we step out into the unknowns with Vivienne’s special needs, I hope you’ll stick with us. You’ve blessed us in more ways than you’ll ever know 🙂

We will be praying for Vivi and you all. We have begun some genetic testing for our new little Eli to see if something else is going on too, and we have had our nervous times as well. We know that he is ours and we will always love him, but we, too, are worrying a little about what these hold for him.

    In Christ,
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and Eli
