smile

I’m a sucker for this little guy. And his big, toothless smile.

This was taken about a year ago, right after his front teeth fell out.

Obviously.

He didn’t want me to get a picture of his new teeth, or lack thereof, so I really had to pull out the big guns to get him to smile. And smile he did.

I’m entering it in this week’s i heart faces photo challenge: smiles.

To see the picture in full size, just click on it.

Go ahead. Click on it.

I dare you not to smile.

I can't wait till my daughter starts loosing teeth and has that big toothless grin and then the new tooth grin that looks a bit awkward because all the other teeth are baby teeth

    He's adorable!

Our oldest – Brianna – had as one of her SN's dental issues (blame her birth mom – it's a long story). The short version is at about 2 she had to have the top 4 baby teeth removed – and only now (at 7) is she getting her adult teeth (which look perfectly healthy – hows that for a Blessing!) But we had the 'toothy cuteness' for years – just LOVE that smile!

    hugs – aus and co.

I think the 'toothless' smiles is one of my absolute favorites! My 7 year old has STILL not lost his front teeth. He's dying too, of course but so am I…..I want a picture of that gappy smile! ๐Ÿ™‚

    So gorgeous!
I just found and joined your blog yesterday – it is truly beautiful.
I was trying to find a way to contact you personally, rather than put this on your public comments but couldn't find an email address for you. You take such beautiful photos that I wanted to invite you over to my blog today – we are doing a 'My day in 5 photos' activity, where you sum up your day in 5 photos and then we link to your blog so everyone can see your beautiful family. I would love to see you there – its called 'The Motherhood Truth' at http://themotherhoodtruth.blogspot.com

    Cheers,
    Donna.
