Sunday Snapshot: {the outcome}

My sister told me I’d set myself up for this.

She told me that after my last post, you guys would expect some pictures of the ‘outcome’.

Too-tight dress, shapewear, dangly earrings and all.

Ooops.

But, since I love you guys, and I knew I’d feel guilty if I never got another picture of the evening, I had Asher take a picture of me before I left.

Just me.

You see, Chris was out of town all this week, and his plane didn’t land until just before we were to head to the ball.

So I had to sorta drive my own carriage to the ball.

Definitely takes some of the Cinderella-ish-ness out of the experience.

I picked Chris up on the way and he took over the wheel so I could fiddle with my fake eyelashes.

And adjust my already uncomfortable undergarments.

I really miss my man when he’s gone.

Even when he has to wear a clip-on bow tie, I think he’s dashingly handsome.

Thank goodness. Because I’m sorta stuck with him.

And he with me. And my one ridiculously large laugh line. Geesh.

We had a great time at the ‘ball’, we even found our way to the dance floor a few times.

My guy can still cut a rug.

That’s how we first met, you know.

When he asked me to dance.

I’m so glad I said yes.

Tell Mr. Chris he's loooooo-king goooood too. ๐Ÿ™‚ So happy you had a fun night out! Sending much love.

You should do the ball thing more often because you were made to look great in a LBD.

So nice to see you and Chris getting out for a night alone. You look great and it sounds like you had a wonderful time!

It is nice to get all dressed up every now and then.

I am sure the little girls and guys thought their Momma looked like a princess.

    Glad you had fun.

I'm impressed that you can still fit into a dress from 15 years ago. The only thing I could fit into from 15 years ago would be maternity clothes! You and your hubby look gorgeous!

Oh, I LOVE that you met on the dance floor! The husband and I love to dance… I've been ballroom dancing since college and he suffered through lessons one year as a Valentine's Day present for me. (And you look gorgeous, you know. And so! darn! young!)

The shots of the two of you together are the BEST. I love the clock in the background…like Prince Charming has to get you home before the clock strikes 12. Just dreamy, you two are…yep, DREAMY!

OK – ya'll don't have many male readers – or at least commenters anyway – and I'm glad that ya'll got out and had a good time!

And at the risk of offending Chris (and some how I don't think that he'll be offended) – He is not wearing rose colored glasses when he looks at you – he is seeing you very clearly – you guys look great! You are so much like Marie – she won't admit that she's attractive either…..what's up with that anyway?

    hugs – aus and co.
