    • Sunday Snapshot

the Sunday Snapshot party crasher

I know. It’s just Saturday.

But Saturday is the day I try to get out and take pictures for Sunday Snapshot.

Which is what I was doing today.

On what felt like the most beautiful day. Ever.

Because the weather was irresistible and the landscape around me beckoned, I decided to focus on non-human subjects.

Tomorrow’s Sunday Snapshot will highlight the arrival of spring.

It’s in full swing around here. And after just a few minutes of surveying God’s handiwork this afternoon, I was enraptured.

As I was zeroing in on some lovely moss and ivy curling up from my favorite picture spot, some one made a surprise entrance.

And she proceeded to plop herself down and look me square in the eye.

Looking devilishly adorable.

Sans shirt, and all.

In my own defense, she did have a shirt on this morning. She just spilled Mountain Dew down the front of it this afternoon.

So I did what any good mom would do. I took it off.

Her lack of shirt, or the fact that she wasn’t the subject of my attention this afternoon didn’t seem to slow her down one bit.

Not much does.

You go, girl.

I like how you justified the no shirt with the fact that she spilled Mountain D*w on herself! That cracked me up! I think the same thing happened here!

OK…this child just BEGS for hundreds of kisses every single day…and I'll bet she gets every one of those kisses, and then some from you and your brood!

She is growing before our eyes!

Morning Stef – nice bunch of updates here – and yeah it's really spring…thought it would never get here!

So I'm looking at all the pics, and taking in the comments about how beloved our kids are, and the silly things that really good natured and curious folks ask (like do they speak english? – ack!!) – and I'm understanding – because I know how it feels – but knowing that God really IS the best! Yeah – it's all good….

And the Mountain Dew thing – you wouldn't be saying that your daughter has a drinking problem? 😉 I tend to do the same thing with my coffee….

hugs – thanks for brining me a smile –

    aus and co.
