Sunday Snapshot: {my girls}

The girls and I spent the afternoon in Boston.

Actually, the entire clan drove to Boston.

We ate lunch together and then the boys (plus Vivienne) went to Gillette Stadium to watch the Patriots practice.

And then just us girls went to do one of the things that we do best.

Shop.

Tori, in trying to sleuth out some fun things to do this summer, had discovered an indoor/outdoor market in downtown Boston and she wanted to check it out.

So check it out we did.

And it was ridiculous all the things they had for sale.

So, we pulled up our boot straps and determined we’d do everything in our power to cover the entire market in the three hours we had to spend…. in pursuit of the perfect find.

Or just something cute. And under $20.

Whichever came first.

And we found a little of everything.

Some things that made us feel young.

Some things that made us feel grown up.

Some things that made us hungry.

Some things that made us stop and savor.

Some things that made us laugh.

And some things that made us wish we’d brought along more cash-ola.

But, fabulous finds or not, we really enjoyed the day together.

Just browsing.

Goofing off.

Chillin’.

And, of course, snacking.

There’s not much I’d rather do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon than hang with my girls.

Anywhere.

I really enjoyed visiting all the links posted last week for Sunday Snapshot. And choosing a very favorite wasn’t easy, y’all. But my most favorite was so inspiring, and so sweet, I wasn’t able to get through the whole post without needing to grab my Kleenex box.

Thanks, Laine. You’ve got one amazing momma.

Then add your link below. And don’t worry if your number doesn’t show up. For some reason you can’t see your own number. But it is there.

Happy Sunday!

The shopping looks delightful but the company even more so!
Thanks for the shout out AND your prayers, faithful friend!

Woww, wow, wow. Can I just say – the three of your big girls – holding hands in front of the brownstones? Frameable!! Love it!! I would have probably had to have a photo shoot right there on their steps 😉 So glad that you had a good time with the girls!

(I would have been tempted by watching the NFL team practice though ;)) –

Gorgeous. Looks like you and the girls had a fabulous day and I would totally LOVE to visit Boston one of these days. I want to do the whole historic tours and look at all the old houses and stuff.

My kids want to visit Boston, but not necessarily for shopping. It has more to do with the Veggie Tales, Pirates Who Don't Do Anything song line, "and I've never been to Boston in the fall!"
What a wonderful day for your entire family though, baseball for the boys and browsing for you and the girls. I am curious if anything ended up being purchased, or was the fun totally in the search?
You probably don't need me to tell you this, but your girls are beautiful!
