those eyes

I have no idea where she got those big, stunningly blue eyes.

Certainly not from me.

Mine tend towards, ahem… forgettable.

Her distaste for feeling restricted?

Her love of lemon squares?

Those things she might have inherited from me.

But those eyes?

Are all her.

Yes, I know.

I’ve posted about her twice in as many days. No apologies, I’ve got 10 more days with her home. Until then, expect to see lots and lots more of my oldest child.

She might be half my age, and stand as tall as I do, but she’s always gonna be my baby.

The one with ridiculously, beautifully blue eyes.

P.S. Seriously. Click on one of the pictures to see what I’m talking about. Are they not gorgeous?!?

P.P.S. Yes, I am unabashedly her biggest fan. Isn’t that what being a mom is all about?

Holy Mackeral! I clicked on each of these pictures and said WOWWWW every time. She's beautiful, I love how she has her hair pulled back. Maybe you can do a post on how she does it, pretty please! πŸ™‚

Beautiful blue eyes – we have two sets of blue and one set of brown in our brood!
Just to say slightly off track but there is a family in China at present who is adopting a ten year old – I believe with the same condition as Vivi. Just thought you would like to know, but probably this is old news for you.

Morning Stef – a couple thoughts – for a gal who runs a kind of a 'photo blog' (kinda) – their aren't that many pictures of you out there. OK – yeah you are the one behind the camera and all that, I get it. But from the few I've seen there's a lot of her mom in Tori! Secondly – being one of the few guys out here that blog – I always hesitate to say things like this for fear of sounding like a "funny uncle" (I've spent most of my professional life locking up folks that prey on kids!) Tori is 'stop and turn to look again' gorgeous!

    hugs – aus and co.

Yes, she is GORGEOUS! As are your other 8 kiddos (or should I say handsome for the boys). She has changed so much since the photo on your sidebar was taken. You have such a lovely family.

Oh, she's such a beautiful girl – just like her Mama!! And totally gorgeous eyes!! And hooray for the fact that I can actually see photos on your blog. I haven't been blogging much at all this summer, but I can't see photos on most blogs – including {WPT}. So frustrating for such a visual person!

BTW, please stop by and check out the fabulous giveaway I'm having to spread the word about our FCC calendar sale to raise money for orphans in China. You could win a $100 Florabella gift certificate, One Willow presets, Chasing Dreams textures and more! I'd love for you to help spread the word and be entered into the drawing!!
