Jude’s first school assignment was to make a family tree.
The instructions called for each family member to trace and cut out their hand.
And then each hand was to be a “leaf” placed on to the family tree.
Our family tree, somehow, didn’t turn out at all like the example.
Seems we are all leaves, and no “tree”.
Here’s to not quite looking like the example.

The leaves are on the branches…which is also where the fruit is! I can't help but think of my favorite Bible verse, "If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) Here's to remaining in him! π

Yeah, but how big would that tree have been with enough hands to represent everyone. The trunk would have had to have been an 11×16 posterboard!
I love his version!

Considering that a family tree that was like the example would have taken up an entire giant banner….I'm thinking the teacher will like the creative compromise. I sure do!
The Raudenbush Family says
