Sunday Snapshot: {Women of Faith}

It was a good time.

I got to hang with some pretty amazing ladies.

Some that I already knew.

Some that I just met (hey Karin!)

And a whole lot that I didn’t get a chance to actually meet,

but I think we bonded nonetheless.

The place was packed out.

And yeah, our seats were suh-weet, right?

Thank the Lord for the JumboTron.

P.S. Aren’t these two just adorable? I loved listening to Mary Beth and SCC. He played Cinderella. And I cried like a baby.

There were pa–lenty of laughs though.

This is Shelley. Doesn’t that smile just make you want to smile?

See? It’s contagious.

Highly contagious.

We spent most of our time in the arena where the conference was being held, but we did manage to get out and stuff our faces at a restaurant across the street.

A restaurant that, with their buffalo chicken salad and fish and chips, made us all very, very happy.

It was a really great time all around.

A bunch of incredible, Jesus-lovin’ girlfriends…. like my buddy Amie, whom I adore.

Surrounded by a bunch more Jesus-lovin’ girlfriends, all singing about lovin’ Jesus.

The Big Guy was definitely in the house.

Awww, looks like a great time! I was actually going to be joining you girls via Amie (sweet thing was providing a distraction when it looked like our adoption was falling through). But, we ended up with our little sweetie, so the WOF conference will have to wait until next year! :o) Glad you had so much fun!!

I saw the Chapman's later that night! They had a concert in MD after WOF. Then last night I got to volunteer at the Show Hope table during the concert. Hours of talking about adoption and sponsorship with lots of people. It was the best!

God speaks the truth into my life through that family. They shine Jesus so brightly!

Wow. There is something about being among a gathering of women and knowing God is present. And how can you beat the music??

Amie should frame that last photo and give it to her hubby. SO GORGEOUS! Me, on the other hand…note to self, "Do not wear white sleeves when in a photo because they make you look like a fat cow!" ha! Can I steal the other one and post it on my blog? πŸ™‚
