Sunday Snapshot: {Asher}

This week’s Snapshot is about my sweet Asher.

I didn’t realize it had been so long.

He was the subject of one of the first Sunday Snapshots I ever posted.

Almost a year and a half ago.

And another about nine months ago, where I bemoaned how much he had grown up…

so, so quickly.

Evidently, he hasn’t stopped.

Asher is finishing up his 5th grade year in school.

His favorite subject is science. And recess. And lunch.

And he has grown ridiculous amounts in the last few months.

He is almost 5’2″.

He weighs 126 pounds.

And he wears a size 12 shoe. Men’s size 12.

I think he gets his size from his daddy.

But those freckles?

Those are from his mama.

**************************************************

If you’d like to participate in Sunday Snapshot this week and have your Snapshot ready, feel free to link up below.

Just copy the code under the Snapshot button and paste it into the body of your Snapshot post where you’d like the button to be displayed.

When you hit ‘publish’ it should show up just fine.

Then add your link below.

He is handsome!! And you are right about getting big! My 12-year-olds (the boys) are between 85-95 lbs and I can't remember how tall, but not as tall as your Asher. The shoe size!!! You must be kidding?? Mine wear men's size 6, and I thought that is big.

Oh Stefanie! He is just so handsome! They do grow up awfully fast – too fast for me! My 11 year old has about 10 pounds to go and then he will weigh as much as me!!! Sigh!

What a handsome young man! He's taller than I!!!

Don't you sometimes wish he had a pause button that you could click on so he could remain that cute little boy just a little longer?!!

I loved the photos. In the two photos before the last one he looks like he is standing outside of the photo which is a really great effect.
(don't know what went wrong with my linky photo but today I am a frog. LOL)

Thank you for the hop! It's scary to me to see blogger friends' boys growing up. My eldest is 4 and I CANNOT imagine him all grown up over 100 pounds, but I know it will come so soon…scary!

He has grown! What a handsome little (even though I know he's big ~ makes a mama's heart feel better to call them little, right?) guy he is. I love that he loves science, recess and lunch. Hands on, active and an eater. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a wonderful boy!

Stef!!!! You cannot leave us hanging like this…I know you closed your comments but I am and have been praying for you. I am really anxious to hear what happened next. Please don't make "eventually" too long form now. I am hoping God opened those doors and you found your way through them!

Love these shots of Asher…..man, is that boy STUNNING! I thought my WonderBoy's feet were big at 11.5 Mens……but your Blondie has him beat.

Guess it'll be online shoe shopping once they hit the teens (shoe size that is, cause at this rate their shoes will hit the teens before they do!)
