settling in

Poppy is.

Settling in.

And it is such fun to witness.

She loves to get into the pantry.

Loves to play in the dog’s water bowl.

And, if you hadn’t noticed, loves to put things in her mouth.

She sleeps fairly well.

And she eats like a truck driver.

She’s venturing out around the house.

She’s joining in with the bigger kids.

And starting to feel safe in this big, crazy family.

And the rest of us?

Falling head over heels in love with her.

My girl loves playing in the dog’s water bowl too…she especially likes to get the antique measuring spoons out of the drawer and play in it…I’ve even caught her tasting the water from the spoons. Ugh….

So glad Poppy is settling in…She’s such a sweet little girl!

    Hi Stefanie,

Poppy looks as if she is absolutely having a blast. It is such a blessing to see her beginning to blossom and be comfortable in her new environment. Her story has captured my heart from the very beginning, and it is so wonderful to see it all unfold. ๐Ÿ™‚ Steven Curtis Chapman’s song: ‘All Things New’ is what comes to mind when I see her ๐Ÿ™‚ She certainly is a new creature, in a loving family, and in Christ!

    Love always,
    Diane
