happy 3 months…

to you, sweet Poppy.

I’m not gonna lie. I am so grateful we are three months down the road.

And that we have those first difficult days behind us.

It’s been a difficult road for you, little one.

But you’ve come so far. And flourished in so many ways.

In your own time.

In an effort to capture a glimpse of where you are just three months home, I took a quick video today.

To share a bit of what you are – finally – beginning to say.

And to share a bit of the confidence you are – finally – beginning to feel.

Make a video – it’s fun, easy and free!

We are so crazy for you and your sweet self.

And can’t wait to see what new and wonderful things the rest of the year will bring.

God Bless that sweet child!! I was not having a very good day today, at all. Then I checked to see if there was anything new and fun going on at Ni Hao Y’all…and I got to see precious Poppy talking to her mama! She has come a long way. It helps to see that even when the beginnings of new things can seem scary and even devastating, that God walks you through it. He carries you if need be, if you can’t walk on your own, and he brings you safely to the other side. Just like sweet Poppy. She is safe and happy and so loved and thriving, even though the beginning was a scary time. Thank you for sharing this. I believe God wanted me to see evidence of his promise to never leave us for forsake us. God bless.

So sweet! She’s got those names down of those she loves and who love her so much! That was the sweetest little “bye bye” I’ve heard in a while! (: Thanks for sharing her progress with us. Isn’t it amazing to see how our children blossom with the love of a family and their Heavenly Father?

She is adorable and such a blessing! I watched this video over and over. Such a far cry from when you were picking her up from China! I love the way she speaks (and the fact that she says NO oh so clearly!) and you are doing a wonderful, wonderful job with her.

    Happy three months! πŸ™‚
