Chinese New Year: the wrap up

Whew.

All done.

They might celebrate for two weeks in China, but I guess I just don’t have that kind of stamina.

We are wrapping up our festivities with just one.

But, even on this last shoot with my two littlest peanuts, we had a blast doing it.

They had seen their bigger brothers and sisters getting dressed in their silks earlier in the week.

And getting their pictures taken.

And getting to play with their things from China.

So when I came downstairs carrying their silks and their things from China, they knew.

It was time.

They couldn’t get out of their jammies fast enough.

And, I’m happy to say, despite some sniffles and some initially cold feet about having their pictures taken, they both came around just fine.

In fact, I’d say they came around beautifully.

For more cuties, visit my friend Lisa’s blog: The Long Road to China.

Happy Chinese New Year, y’all.

How cute!!! I love their silks, hairbows ( and of course, what makes the entire outfit…their adorable smiles:-)
Where do you find such cute hairbows? I’ve looked and looked for our Madeline and I just can’t seem to find them anywhere:)

Your children have such a peace within their faces. What a testament to their loving mother!
And now I’m going to make a note to buy leggings that coordinate with our silks. What a great idea!

    Hi Stephanie,
Happy Chinese New Year 🙂 I love seeing the pictures of the two youngest. I started reading your blog before Vivienne came so seeing the changes in both their young lives is nothing short of miraculous. May God’s presence and glory be ever so evident in your lives this year.

    Beautiful pics, Stefanie!

It warms my heart to see Poppy’s smile. What a huge difference from her pics in China (praise God!). She obviously feels secure and loved in your brood. Both Viv and Poppy are gorgous.

Oh, and I bought my daughter a “SO Loved” tee and it’s her favorite. As soon as it comes out of the wash, she wears it again. 😉

Do you get their silks from China or do you order them from someplace? Where?

Stunning photographs Stephanie! I look at Vivi in the last picture and for some reason she reminds me of Tori! Their silks are beautiful! Did you buy them on the island?

Oh my! Total. Utter. Beauty. No doubt about it. I’m sure your magnificent photography does wonders – but your families beauty just oozes on the screen!!! (ooze isn’t a very nice word… “soaks” the screen sounds a bit nicer, eh?!!)
